wow haven't updated in here in awhile. I've kind of gotten out of a deviantart mood or something...I just haven't really felt motivated to write anything. I was looking through my old freshman yearbook and a bunch of random memories just popped into my head. gah and then I was remembering all of this fun stuff that I'd forgotten about from all 4 years. so I'll do this in installments, I guess. but here we go...
Freshman year reverie:
--going running with Sheena. going over to each other's houses and playing cards and watching tv and playing lacrosse and making jokes about her asian-ness
--being on the lacrosse team with my sister. and how bad I was at it
--how I always made a total dumbass of myself in Mr. Baczkowski's class
--how I was late to first-period biology
every single friggin' day
--going into tech ed on september 11th and mr. reisinger went off on us for not being patriotic enough and almost started crying
--going to see
LOTR and
Spiderman with jessica, hannah and kelsey
--how hanging out at the mall used to be so cool
and fun
--when Eric first asked me to go to the movies and I was sooooooooo nervous. we went to see
Spiderman, haha. I think I almost threw up from nervousness
--THE FRESHMAN ASSEMBLY!!! oh wow I had totally forgotten about that, I have no idea how...we wrote a skit to make fun of the teachers and I was Mr. B and I was so afraid nobody would think it was funny but people liked us
--going to homecoming dinner with hannah and about 30 other people at mexicali cantina. homecoming was so much fun. I danced with Ben and it was, like, the highlight of my life at the time. Sheena slept over that night
--going to see
Peter Pan because Kelsey and Brittany were in it. we made fun of Bill before I'd ever even met him
--escaping one of my dad's political events by going over to Jessica's to sit in her hot tub
--going to see
LOTR with my family the first time and becoming obsessed with Elijah Wood
--seeing the second episode of
Star Wars with my sister. and then like 3 other times in the theater with Eric and Hannah
--going to play putt putt; it was kind of stormy-looking but we didn't stop until hannah's mom came to pick us up early because there were tornado warnings
--Mr. Zearfoss's class. god I love that man
--taking Drama I and being really intimidated by Templeton
--skipping on the last day of school to go out to lunch and being TERRIFIED of getting caught
--meeting Amy in Drama I. we did our project on musicals together and temp still talks about it today, teehee--it was that good. and we became friends
--then summer camp...Amy became one of my best friends. and camp was the most fun I'd had for awhile
--my dad coming to see
Godspell and telling me afterwards that it made him cry
--sleeping over at Kelsey's house in Libertytown and using paper towels and band-aids to cover up her curtainless windows (lest one of her freaky commune neighbors tried to look in the window)
--finally getting over my fear of roller coasters at Hershey Park by going on the great bear
--spending the whole day with Hannah once over the summer...we went to the mall to hang out (ugh we used to do that SO MUCH!) and ate dinner at the Italian Oven. then went back to her house and watched the DVD extras for
Moulin Rouge. I still have the photos that we took in this picture booth at that arcade place.
--Sheena telling me about how she was moving to Maine...I didn't know how I was going to survive without her. she came that same night to see
Godspell with McCamie
--having the biggest crush on Brad. as I'm sure everyone else has at some time or another
--going to DC with my brother and dad but getting to go around to museums with just John. we got yelled at for running up the escalator
oh god the list could just go on and on, I need to stop...as much as I'd like to forget all the retarded stuff I did in 9th grade I did have fun, too. it doesn't feel like so long ago. I doubt anyone read this far but, if you have...good for you! give yourself a pat on the back.
